Vista Adult School -
Regional Occupational Program has provided leading educational services in literacy, career technical training, and community education programs in the Vista community since 1977. We offer traditional Adult Education programs, Community Education courses and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs for approximately 17,000 Adults per year. Vista Adult School also manages Regional Occupational Programs (ROP) in all three Vista Unified School District-High Schools.
The Vista Adult School's three campuses are located in beautiful North San Diego County, in the City of Vista, California.
Introduction to Restaurant Management
Registration Fee: $45.
5 Week Course, offered in two sessions.
This course will provide students with the skills necessary to operate a restaurant. Unique
characteristics of Restaurants will be explored including quick service and full service. The
class will cover the following areas to engage all
students and give an introduction to Restaurant
Management:
•Management principles • Safety and Sanitation
•Employee selection, training and schedules
•Customer relations • Leadership • Cost Control
This class will keep the student engaged and will
offer a curriculum designed to advance on the job or obtain the skills necessary to run your
own restaurant in today’s economy. Each day is different in the restaurant industry and
each class will be a building block for the next.
